Gandhinagar: Abdasa MLA of Congress party has given advertisement in local newspapers of Kutch district admiring the state government for delivery of development works in his constituency. Pradhumansinh Jadeja, a Congress MLA has been also seen in at least two recent government functions. Generally, opposition leaders and MLAs stay away from participation in government functions. With Jadeja, another Congress MLA CJ Chavda was also seen attending a government function recently. Speculations are rife in capital Gandhinagar about possibility of more Congress MLAs joining BJP in future.

It’s worth noting that Pradyumansinh was in BJP earlier. When asked about his visit to Gandhinagar today, he said he was here to make representation regarding healthcare related issues of his constituency. When asked about possibilities of rejoining BJP, Jadeja said BJP was not needing him. He said he gave advertisement as the government constructed Rs. 36 crore road in his constituency. He said he had requested Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel (who is also a minister for Road and Building department) to build a road and his demand was granted.
