ACB nabs woman TDO red handed taking bribe in central Gujarat

Vadodara: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed red handed a woman Taluka Development Officer taking a bribe of Rs 24000/- from a contractor for passing his bills.
Assistant Director of the ACB D P Chudasama said that TDO of Vaghodia taluka in Vadodara district Kaminiben Panchal (50) was nabbed from her office chamber.
She had sought the bribe from the complainant contractor for passing the bills of his works of various gram panchayats including making of toilets, protection walls etc. She had earlier taken Rs 7000/- for passing another bill of the same contractor.
