Ahmedabad: Gujarat BJP today in a statement said, the party has relieved State Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) executive member Vicky Trivedi (Bapunagar) from all responsibilities (positions). Trivedi was in loggerhead with Police Inspector NK Vyas of Bapunagar police station for last some time over his abusive language against Inspector Vyas, video of which had gone viral. Trivedi had later apologized for his behavior. Later a complain of atrocity was filed against Trivedi by a local Congress leader in separate incident. Trivedi today came on Facebook and gave live statement regarding both affairs. However, at the same time, the State BJP released a statement declaring that Trivedi was relieved from all responsibilities (posts/positions) of BJYM due to his bad behavior and actions. BJP statement said, this decision was taken by BJYM Gujarat chief Dr. Rutvij Patel after consultation with State BJP chief Jitu Vaghani. Trivedi was also a co-incharge of BJYM Gujarat for Gir Somanth District.
