ACB in Gujarat nabs its own Police Inspector taking bribe of Rs 18 lakh

Ahmedabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today caught red-handed an Inspector of its own force taking a bribe of Rs 18 lakhs from a person in Ahmedabad.
Assistant Director of the ACB DP Chudasma said that PI on the ACB office in Junagadh D D Chavda had sought the bribe from the accused of a case related with a cattle pasture land there to not to arrest him and drop his name from the list of accused.
Based on a secret complaint, a trap was laid and the PI was nabbed from a place near Sanatan cross roads in Ahmedabad.
