ACB nabs peon in city survey office in Central Gujarat taking bribe

Ahmedabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed red handed a peon in the city survey office in Dahod town taking bribe from a man in the name of helping him out about an objection petition with regard to his ancestral land survey.

Assistant Director of the ACB, D P Chudasama said that K T Ninama, working as outsourced peon in the city survey office in Dahod had sought Rs 5000 as bribe from the complainant who was willing to file an objection with regard to the measurement and survey of his ancestral land by his father’s uncle. He had paid Rs 700 to him on February 1 when he had gone to the survey office with his petition.

Based on his complaint a trap was today laid and Ninama was nabbed red handed taking the remaining amount of Rs 4300 from him.
