Hindu religious symbols on tiles of toilet in Arvalli district

Modasa: Taluka Development Officer (TDO) of Meghraj has issued notice to Sarpanch, Talati and VGC of Panchayat over use of tiles with Hindu religious symbols in toilet.
The incident happened in Indira Nagar area, where local Aman Sakhi Mandal run by Muslim women built a toilet through a Muslim laborer in which tiles with Hindu religious symbols were used.
The issue was taken up by Arvalli district BJP secretary Kanubhai Parmar following which tiles were removed.
BJP leader sought termination of Aman Sakhi Mandal’s contract, suspension of payment and criminal complaint against those responsible for hurting sentiments of Hindus.
Aman Sakhi Mandal members Mumtaz bahen and Shamima Bahen meanwhile have in a letter tendered apology for this goof up.
