Gujarat govt hand over four ponds to AMC

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today decided to handover four ponds under the control of the Gujarat Government to Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to be developed by the latter as beauty spots for the citizens.
They are Vandarvat Lake in Vatva Survey No.907 (28,227 sq. m), Govt Lake in Chharodi Survey No.251 (42,593 sq. m), Govt Lake in Shilaj Block No.86 (169,665 sq. m) and Gam Talav in Gota Survey No.1 (55,095).
