ACB nabs Deputy Town Planner taking bribe of Rs 1.50 lakh in South Gujarat

Surat: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed red handed a Deputy Town Planner of the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) here taking bribe of Rs 1.50 lakh for not demolishing an alleged illegal construction.
Assistant Director of the ACB, D P Chudasama today said that the A K Tailor (47), Deputy Town Planner, SMC, Limbayat zone was nabbed taking the bribe during a trap at a road near Udhana Darwaja in the city.
He had demanded the bribe from the secret complainant who was a market maintenance manager in his area for not demolishing an alleged illegal construction in the market premises.
