SVP Ahmedabad gets ICMR nod for Covid19 tests

Gandhinagar: One more laboratory test facility for Covid19 tests has received approval in Gujarat. Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) run Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (SVP) hospital has been permitted for Covid19 testings by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
With this Ahmedabad has 5 laboratories that are allowed to do Covid19 tests. This includes 2 government and 3 private labs. While two govt labs are in BJ Medical College and SVP, the private laboratories permitted are Unipath, Supratech and PanGenomics.
