LG Hospital reopens OPD and Emergency barring orthopedic

Ahmedabad: AMC run LG hospital has resumed offering OPD and emergency medical services from today barring orthopedic department. LG is non-covid hospital, however all doctors are to be given PPE kits. The Patients will need to have mask. They will also need to use sanitizer and if needed go through screening before entering the hospital.
The hospital has been restarted after three layer deep cleaning, sanitization and fumigation procedure.
Orthopedic department has not been reopened because this was the department where doctors were infected in LG hospital, following which it was closed for a week or so.
These details were shared by Commissioner, AMC today in his online briefing.
