4082 Covid19 cases in Gujarat including 2777 in Ahmedabad; 308 new cases, 93 discharge in a day

Gandhinagar: Total number of Covid19 cases in Gujarat so far is 4082 including 197 deaths and 527 discharges of patients from hospitals after full recovery.

Out of total 4082 patients, 34 are on ventilator support and therefore critical, 3324 are stable.

Out of total cases of Gujarat, 2777 are from Ahmedabad where 137 persons have died and 263 are discharged from hospitals.

Surat has 601 cases so far followed by 270 in Vadodara.

In last 24 hours, 308 new cases have been detected, 16 persons have died and 93 are discharged after full recovery.

Of 308 cases detected in last 24 hours, 234 are from Ahmedabad.

Principal Secretary, Health said, Porbandar, Jamnagar and Morbi districts have now no active case. Amreli, Devbhumi Dwarka and Junagadh are three districts of Gujarat that have not seen even a single Covid19 case detected so far.

PS Health also said that the government after a meeting with office bearers of Indian Medical Association (IMA) has decided that PPE kits to private doctors are to be given at the rate of government purchase.
