10,121 Covid19 cases detected in Ahmedabad including 690 deaths, 4070 discharge, 5,361 active cases

Ahmedabad: Total 652 Covid19 patients have been discharged from Asarwa Civil hospital in the city so far. The hospital with over 1200 beds has so far witnessed deaths of 388 Covid19 patients.

City based SVP hospital which functions under the AMC (Amdavad Municipal Corporation) has so far witnessed 1159 discharge of Covid19 patients after full recovery. SVP has witnessed 130 deaths so far.

Another city based public hospital, Civil hospital at Sola which functions under he State government has so far witnessed 39 deaths and 53 discharges of Covid19 patients.

The AMC has not shared the figures of deaths of Covid19 patients in private hospitals, but 133 deaths are shown in others.

The AMC has released the discharge figures of private facilities, according to which, Gujarat Cancer Society (GCS) hospital has witnessed 143 discharge following SMS hospital with 86 discharge, Jivraj Mehta hospital 42 discharge, HCG and CIMS hospitals, 25 discharge each.

Among Covid Care Centres across the cities, Samras hostel under AMC has witnessed 1431 discharge while Hajj House has witnessed 88 discharge followed by Lemon Tree at 71 and Fern hotel at 34.

136 persons have been discharged from home isolation after full recovery.

In total the city has witnessed discharge of 4070 Covid19 patients after full recovery.

City’s Central zone has witnessed detection of 1274 cases so far followed by South zone at 1194, North zone at 1103, East zone at 696, West zone at 625 and rest of the cases in other zones.
