Gujarat Covid19 case total 21,044; new 470 cases, 33 deaths, 409 discharge in 24 hours

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has recorded 470 new positive cases of Covid-19 in past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 21,044 and death toll at 1,313. Among new cases, 331 are detected in Ahmedabad district while 62 in Surat and 32 in Vadodara districts.

In past 24 hours, 33 persons died of Covid-19 infection including 27 in Ahmedabad, 2 in Surat and 1 each in Mahesana, Arvalli, Amreli and Panchmahal. Total number of tests done to detect Covid-19 in the state is 2,61,587 as on today, said the State government statement.

The state has witnessed 14,373 discharges so far.

As on today there are 5,358 total active cases including 64 who are on ventilator support and critical, while 5,299 active patients are stable.
