Fine for not wearing mask to be collected by Police and not civic staff

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government transfers the power of collecting fine for not wearing mask to police commissioners and district police chiefs in areas under their purview. Earlier, district collectors and municipal commissioners were given this power. Now it has been shifted to police commissioners and district police chiefs (DSPs).
