524 new Covid19 cases in Gujarat, 418 recoveries, 28 deaths

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has recorded 524 new cases of Covid19 in last 24 hours. As many as 418 Covid patients recovered in the same period which also saw 28 deaths including 21 in Ahmedabad, 2 each in Surat, Vadodara and Sabarkantha and 1 in Panchamahal.

With this the total number of deaths due to Covid19 infection in the State so far is 1534. Total number of discharge of Covid patients has been 17090. Total Covid19 cases detected in the State so far is 24,628.

Out of fresh cases detected in last 24 hours, 332 were from Ahmedabad followed by 71 in Surat, 41 in Vadodara, 22 in Gandhinagar, 10 in Rajkot, 6 in Bharuch, 5 in Panchmahal among other cases at other places.

Out of total 6004 active Covid19 patients, 64 are critical and on ventilator support while 5940 are stable.
