13,000 kl capacity Oxygen tank erected at New Civil Hospital in Surat

Surat: A 13,000 kl capacity oxygen tank has been set up at New Civil hospital here behind Nursing hospital. The oxygen tank will be operational in next two days, said a note released by the Government. Around 85 per cent Covid-19 patients require external oxygen support. Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) had yesterday in a statement stated that in Surat this proportion is 20 to 25 per cent which is worrisome.
