965 new cases of Covid-19 detected in Gujarat in 24 hours

Gandhinagar: In the last 24 hours ending at 5 pm today, Gujarat has recorded 965 new cases of coronavirus infection along with 877 discharges of coronavirus patients after recovery and 20 deaths including 6 deaths each in Ahmedabad city and Surat city.

The State has total 11,412 active cases at present including 69 critical cases. Total discharges so far in the State have been 34,882 along with 2,147 deaths.

Among fresh cases detected in 24 hours span in the State, 206 are from Surat city while 186 are from Ahmedabad city.

These details were shared by the State Health department in its daily bulletin released today.
