Gujarat Revenue Minister’s brother commits suicides

Ahmedabad: Gujarat revenue minister Kaushik Patel’s younger brother Gautam Patel on Sunday morning committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Shilaj area of Ahmedabad. Gautam Patel had a chemical and pharmaceutical firm in central Gujarat. Bopal Police is investigating the case. Gautam Patel is survived by his wife, son and daughter-in-law. Gautam Patel had a chat with family members on Sunday morning. Then, he went to his room on the first floor of the house with a Dupatta. Reason for suicide was not known as the cops did not find any suicide note.
