Over 1500 people shifted to safer places following flood, water logging across six districts

Gandhinagar: Over 1500 persons affected by heavy rains and release of water from dams across six districts have been shifted to safer places by the government. The shifting has taken place in Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Patan, Rajkot, Gandhinagar and Sabarkantha districts. Among them nearly 1,000 have been shifted from low lying areas of Rajkot city only.
