Ahmedabad: Three-storey commercial complex collapsed in Kubernagar area of Ahmedabad late in the night post 1 am. Three persons doing embroidery work were stuck under rubble. Two were rescued by Fire brigade, one dead.

-Gujarat govt has approved Rs. 83 crore pipealine works linked to Fofal-1 reservoir in Saurashtra.

-Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed an unarmed police constable Vikramsinh Parmar and his aide middleman Vinubhai Parmar in Rs. 200 bribe case. Vikramsinh is constable at Sevaliya Police station in Kheda district. Vinu Parmar is resident of Uplet in Thasra taluka. ACB had received information that police and home guard jawans stop vehicles on Ahmedabad – Indore highway and seek bribe in range of Rs. 100 to Rs. 1000 for traffic rule violations. An alert citizen was roped in by ACB as decoyer and trap was arranged. A constable and middleman were arrested after they received Rs. 200 bribe.

-Vadodara Police Crime Branch nabs wanted criminal Aslam Bodiyo after 100 km chase. Aslam was wanted in 3 crimes. He has gone to jails under PASA on 9 occasions in past.

-Gujarat Govt gives approval to Kutch Vidya Pratishthan run GMDC Arts and Commerce College in Nakhatrana as Grant in aid college.

-Gujarat Govt approves Rs. 2.53 crore for checkdam on Kalubhar river at Hadmatala – Umrala for storage of 11.20 MCFT water benefiting 160 hectare land.
