Maximum 100 persons to be allowed in wedding/reception and other celebrations: Gujarat govt

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has today taken a decision that maximum number people allowed in wedding/wedding reception and other celebrations will be 100. The venue must be double in capacity.

In event of funeral/last rites/religious rituals, maximum 50 persons will be permitted.

Wedding/wedding reception or other functions will not be allowed during curfew hours in the cities where night curfew is effective. (Night curfew is effective in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot at present during 9 pm to 6 am)

Such decisions will be effective from Tuesday midnight.
