Three chemical industrial units in Vatva served closure notice after massive fire

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today said it has served closure order to three chemical industrial units in Vatva GIDC phase-2 after an incident of major fire last night.
Fire broke out in Jagson colorchem ltd plot 5601-4 and Matangi industries LLP plot number C-1/5605 and C-1/5614 last night and spread to Bhavin industries office on plot number 448. Fire & Emergency department of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) had declared brigade call to douse this massive fire and launched night-long operation. None is hurt or died in this incident.
According to Labour and Employment department, Director Industrial Safety & Health has served closure order under section 40 (2) to three chemical units involved.
