Bharuch: Chhotu Vasava led Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) has announced its decision to withdraw support from Ashok Gehlot led Congress government in Rajasthan. BTP has two members in Rajasthan Assembly, Rajkumar Rot and Ram Prasad Dindor. BTP has claimed that Congress and BJP joined hand and made an independent candidate as district president in district council election in Dungarpur. BTP emerged as top party in Dungapur district election. However it couldn’t get the post of President as Congress and BJP made an independent as President by breaking elected group of BTP. Gehlot government will stay unaffected post this development as it has 118 number in 200-member State assembly. BTP has also two MLAs in Gujarat including party founder chief Chhotu Vasava, a former Janata Dal (United) leader from Bharuch who enjoyed good relations with late Congress party treasurer Ahmd Patel who also hailed from Bharuch district.
