Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today said online registration for holding wedding function in the State will be required through www.digitalgujarat.gov.in website.

National Informatics Centre has created a software for online registration for organizing marriage function which has been activated on Digital Gujarat Portal.

After applying online, an applicant will need to take printout of registration slip or save it as PDF file. If police or someone from local administration seek, an applicant will need to produce such printout/PDF file.

The decision has been taken in view of Covid19 pandemic situation under which maximum only 100 persons are allowed to gather in functions like marriage or wedding reception.
