December 16, 2020
Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today said that under Sarthi 4.0, the renewal of learning license will be possible online by paying fee by applicant on parivahan.gov.in. An applicant will need to just download and print such license.
Similarly if some person is having driving license of one group and he/she needs to add another group (AEDL – Additional Endorsement to Driving License) then he/she will not need to visit RTO office in person but will just need to pay fee and add the group, which shall be verified and approved by RTO, after which a prescribed date will be allotted to an applicant for driving test.
According to a note released by the State government, the procedure of Endorsement to Drive Hazardous Material has been made faceless. Manual stamping will no more be required. Across all transactions, learning license and hazardous material transportation’s endorsement, an applicant will not need to visit RTO office.
