287 hospitals under AMC limit asked to obtain Fire NOC before admitting any new patient

Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has asked 287 hospitals of the city to urgently obtain the no objection certificate (NOC) from Fire & Emergency Services department and not admit any new patient till NOC is obtained. Link of the list. The hospitals that have NOC but served notice by Fire department will also need to reply the notice and take required corrective measures within next 15 days. According to AMC note, hospitals with NOC will be responsible for any incident of fire if they don’t keep fire fighting system operational or not provide necessary training to staffers for use of fire fighting system installed in the building.
