Ahmedabad Cantonment Board launches Online E-Portal Website for citizen centric services

Ahmedabad: Under the vision of Prime Minister of India and the leadership of Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, Ahmedabad Cantonment Board has launched transformative citizen centric services for public convenience. In order to increase accessibility of citizen services offered by Cantonment Boards, ‘e-Chhawani Project’ has been launched by Directorate General Defence Estates, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
In Phase-I, e-Chhawani brings many services for the citizens of Cantonment area through portal like lodging public grievance pertaining to Cantonment Board, submitting applications for trade license, making online payments through “m-Collect” module, submitting online application for renewal / extension of lease etc. General public can access these services at https://ahmedabad.cantt.gov.in
Shri Dhiraj Sonaje, Chief Executive Officer of Ahmedabad Cantonment Board says,“e-Chhawani will enhance ease of doing business, citizen can report grievance and avail various services from anywhere and anytime. It will save time and money”.
Ahmedabad Cantonment Board is committed to provide convenient, quick and responsive civic services. This technology-driven initiative has been undertaken by the Directorate General Defence Estates (DGDE), Ministry of Defence in partnership with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and eGov Foundation.
