Active Covid19 cases in Gujarat now below 2000, fresh daily cases recorded in Amdavad below 50

Gandhinagar: Active cases of Covid19 in Gujarat are now less than 2,000 at 1,800 as per the daily bulletin by the State Health department released today. The State recorded 255 fresh cases of covid19 in a day against recovery of 495 patients and zero death.
As many as 53,615 persons were vaccinated against covid19 today across 883 centres. The total number of persons vaccinated in the State is 7.14 lakh.
There has been no new Covid case recorded in Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation, Botad, Dang, Navsari, Patan, Porbandar, Tapi, Valsad districts/corporation areas in a day.
Daily count of fresh cases in case of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has gone down below 50 at 47 against recovery of 185 patients. The city has now around 400 active cases.
