Vinod Chavda, Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya test Covid19 positive: Nitin Patel

Gandhinagar: Not just Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, but Lok Sabha member from Kutch Vinod Chavda and Gujarat BJP General Secretary (Organization) Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya have also been tested positive for Covid-19, said Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel in reply to media query during interaction here this afternoon. Nitin Patel is also Health minister in the State government.
Nitin Patel further informed that both Chavda and Dalsaniya are hospitalized in UN Mehta hospital where Chief Minister Rupani is also under treatment for Covid19 for at least five-seven days.
Nitin Patel said, Lok Sabha member Vinod Chavda is in hospital for last five days while Bikhubhai Dalsaniya has mild symptoms.
He said all three – Chief Minister Rupani, MP Vinod Chavda and party leader Bhikhubhai were present in Parliamentary board meeting of State BJP recently.
He said others who have come in contact with these leaders will undergo Covid19 tests.
