Sabarmati: A flyover connecting Jivraj Park to Shyamal cross roads has been closed for 48 hours during 1st April 11 pm to 3rd April 5 am due to ongoing works of Metro rail project. From 3rd April to 1st July, for the period of two months and twenty eight days, Shreyas over bridge will remain closed for all types of traffic during 11 pm to 5 am. A service road on the southern side of Jivraj over bridge will also remain closed for all type of traffic.

Meanwhile heavy traffic jam was witnessed in the morning peak hours at alternative routes and adjoining areas due to closure of flyover.
