Ma and Vatsalyam card to be valid for Covid19 treatment in private hospitals

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has taken a decision to avail the benefits of Ma card and Vatsalyam card in Coronavirus infection treatment to over 80 lakh poor and middle class families in the State. Such beneficiaries will be able to use these cards in private hospitals for coronavirus treatment. The decision has been taken today in a Core group meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in capital Gandhinagar. A beneficiary family can spend upto Rs. 50,000 for covid19 treatment in private hospital for a ten-day period which comes to upto Rs. 5,000 per day.
