Merit based progression for 9.50 lakh college students in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has taken a decision to give merit based progression to 9.50 lakh students of intermediate semester 2, 4, 6 in private and government under-graduate colleges . This will be effective for all colleges barring medical and para-medical colleges. The assessment as per the decision  made will take place on the basis of 50 per cent internal marks and 50 per cent marks of previous semester. In case practical exams are conducted, the marks of such exams will be considered.  The decision was taken in a core group meeting on Covid19 pandemic chaired by the Chief Minister. DeshGujarat
