Gujarat govt in-principally approves new STPs in 9 towns

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has taken decision to set up latest technology sewage treatment plant in 9 more municipality areas. These 9 municipalities are Savarkundla , Gadhda, Kathlal , Mahudha , Bayad , Patdi , Sojitra , Sidhpur and Vallabhvidyanagar.
New sewage plants will be set up under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Urban Development Yojana under which 183 works across 156 municipalities are approved. Such works are completed in 144 municipalities.
