Covid19: Fresh cases in Gujarat around 2,500, recoveries around 8,000, vaccination further up at 2.36 lakh doses in a day

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has reported 2,521 fresh cases of Covid19 in 24 hours ending at 5 pm today against recovery of 7,965 covid patients, taking recovery rate further up at 93.66 per cent. 27 covid19 patients died in this period. The total count of active cases in the State has gone down to 43,611. Among the cities and districts, Ahmedabad city reported 336 fresh cases, Vadodara city 308, Surat city 228, Vadodara district 172, Rajkot city 122. The pace of vaccination against covid19 is continuing to rise. Today over 2.36 lakh persons were vaccinated taking the count of total number of doses administered further up at over 1.65 crore.
