In pictures: Reconstructed Gandhinagar Railway Station with Five Star Hotel atop it

Gandhinagar: A 318-room five-star hotel in Gandhinagar railway station complex, being constructed by GARUD, a joint venture of the Government of India and the State government is in last phase of completion. It has facilities such as banquet hall, club house, SPA heath centre, swimming pool etc. The project involves reconstruction of Gandhinagar railway station, an underpass connecting Vavol village to Mahatma Mandir and up-and-down ramps to access the 318-room hotel. These details were shared by the State government today in a statement relating to Chief Minister’s visit to the project site. The Chief Minister had earlier in the morning announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon be in Gujarat to inaugurate the new Raiwlay Station – Hotel project and newly developed galleries at Gujarat Science City.
