Gujarat reports 293 fresh cases of Covid-19 infection; Surat – 48, Ahmedabad 47

Gandhinagar: Gujarat reported 293 fresh cases of Covid-19 infection in 24 hours ending at 5 pm today against recovery of 779 Covid patients and deaths of 6.

The state administered over 2.52 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccines in a day taking the total number of doses administered up at over 2.12 crore.

The number of active covid-19 cases has gone down further to 7,749 in latest.

Among cities and district, Surat city reported 48, Ahmedabad city 47, Rajkot city 18, Surat district 18 and Gir Somnath and Vadodara district each reported 15 fresh cases of Covid-19 infection.
