Rajpipla: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani in reply to media query on the sidelines of a state-level ‘Vishwa Adivasi Divas’ function at Jitnagar in Rajpipla said that the State assembly general elections next year will be organized on time (and not early). In reply to media query he said that Gujarat elections have no connections with the Uttar Pradesh elections.
It’s worth noting that a leading Gujarati daily had recently published a front-page article claiming that Gujarat assembly elections of year 2022 will take place early in January instead of December. Such speculations keep circulating in media every time before election year in Gujarat.
Rupani added that Bharatiya Janata Party government continuously work and doesn’t create any scheme for the election. He further said that they have been going among the public regularly for 5 years whereas Congress only goes among the people at time of the elections.
The Chief Minister performed foundation stone laying for construction of a building of Birsa Munda Tribal University in Narmada district. Minister of Tribal development Ganpatsinh Vasava was present in this program.
Rupani said none have noticed Congress party’s protest and such protest is only visible in the media. DeshGujarat
