AMC starts disallowing access to its certain services to unvaccinated citizens

Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) staffers today started rejecting entry at gardens, city-buses etc services to those who are not vaccinated yet. AMC staffers would check smart phones of those visiting the AMTS and BRTS bus stops, Kankaria Lake Front, Zoo, Riverfront, Libraries, Gymnasium, Swimming Pool, AMC Sports Complex, City Civic Centers and all public buildings of AMC to separate those who are vaccinated and those who are not. Those who have not taken even a single dose of vaccine against Covid-19 were not permitted entry. Those who have taken first dose but not taken second dose in prescribed period were also denied entry. Statewide free vaccination drive against Covid-19 was launched as early as in January this year.
