Micro Containment Zone back in Surat

Surat: The gate of Athwa Zone based Megh Mayur apartment has been sealed and none is allowed entry of exit, after as many as 9 new cases of Covid-19 were detected here by September 24.
According to an official of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC), six new cases were detected in Megh Mayur apartment’s A block while 1 case has been detected in B block.
He said security officer and staffers are also deployed to restrict entry and exit.
He said all residents have taken double doses of Covid-19 vaccines. Dhanvantari Rath vans have visited the place and check the persons.
RMC official said, some people from this flat had visited Palanpur in North Gujarat for Samvatsari-Paryushan Jain festival.
In related development, a residential locality in Rander has also been declared Micro Containment Zone and entry/exit are restricted. DeshGujarat
