AMC seals theaters, multiplexes, schools over fire safety violation

Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has sealed 5 cinemas, 2 multiplexes and 7 schools in the city for not executing fire safety systems and not getting or not renewing the fire-safety certificates.

The five cinemas without Fire NOC namely Shital Cinema in Gomtipur, Amber Cinema in Bapunagar, Mira Cinema in Maninagar, Hanjar Cinema in Saraspur and City Pulse- Mega City Cinema in Makarba are sealed by AMC. The two multiplexes K-Sera Sera MiniPlex on SG Road and Carnival Cinemas Screen at Himaliyamall are sealed.

The seven schools namely Shree NK Primary School, Nutan Prakash Vidyalay, Gitanjali Vidyamandir, Preyas English medium School, Vikas Primary School, Shree CP Patel Fellowship Highschool, Pulkit Madhyamik Shala, Pulkit Primary School, Jagruti English Medium are sealed.
