PM Modi mentions a female health worker in Gujarat Hetalben Mochi in Mann Ki Baat

Vadodara: In Mann Ki Baat, PM Narendra Modi specially mentioned about a female health worker Hetalben Mochi of Karjan Urban Health Centre (UHC) who vaccinated over 24000 people.

Karjan taluka health official and medical superintendent Dr Prashantsingh informed that Hetalben is performing the duty of vaccinating people since the beginning of vaccination drive, which means from around 10 months. She is vaccinating the people by putting aside festivals, celebrations, and public holidays. She gave priority to her duty of vaccinating people along with managing her familial responsibilities. She vaccinates around 200 people every day. As per an estimation, she has vaccinated over 24 thousand people with the first or second dose. The people who were vaccinated by Hetalben are glad that PM Modi appreciated her services.

Hetalben Mochi said, “India made world record by vaccinating 100 crore people with encouragement of PM Modi. I am proud of my co-participation in this process. I could continuously do this work due to cooperation of my family and peers. The risk of Covid-19 haven’t yet disappeared. The remaining people should timely take the vaccines and follow the preventive measures including wearing a mask.” DeshGujarat
