ACB Gujarat nabs Home Guard jawan who would seek money from loading drivers as ‘entry charge’

Ahmedabad: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a home-guard jawan working in a PCR van of Isanpur police station in Ahmedabad city in a bribe-case of Rs 100.
ACB, Ahmedabad had confidentially received the information that the police and home-guard jawans on duty at night take bribes from the loading drivers in the name of ‘entry’. To verify the information, ACB planned a decoy trap with the help of a decoyer. The accused home-guard jawan Shadab Rashidkhan Shaikh was found accepting a bribe of Rs 100 as entry from the decoyer during the decoy trap executed by ACB on 2nd November outside traffic chowki at Narol Chokdi in Ahmedabad.
