Gujarat CM inaugurates multi-storey government accommodations in capital Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel dedicated 560 newly built multi-storey accommodations at a cost of Rs 149.80 crores in Gandhinagar for the state government employees.
The dedication of the residency of 280 B-type accommodations and 280 C-type accommodations built by the Roads and buildings Department of the state government took place on this occasion. The accommodations of this residency includes amenities such as vitrified tiles, fixed furniture, PNG gas pipeline connection, lift, fire safety facility, children play area, garden, parking and security cabin.
The residency of 560 accommodations is named ‘Vir Bhagat Singh Nagar’ as part of the recent tradition of naming the government residences with the name of national heroes of the country. The roads and buildings department has built a total 1120 accommodations at a cost of Rs 219 crores with the names such as Shyamji Krishna Varma Park, Vir Savarkar Nagar and Vande Mataram park within the last 5 years.
