2 more bridges ready in Bridge City Surat; 19 more under construction

Two new bridges are ready for opening and the works on 19 under-construction bridges are underway in Surat city.
The Sahara Darwaja multilayer flyover bridge on the railway culvert on Surat-Mumbai western railway main line has been built at a cost of Rs 133.50 crores.
A river bridge on Tapi connecting Mota Varachha to Varachha khadi of Varachha water works has been built at cost of Rs 114 crores.
Total 115 bridges are operational in the city of Surat at present including 14 river bridges, 61 bay bridges, 28 flyovers, and 12 railway overs.
The works on 19 new bridges are in progress at present in the city. DeshGujarat
