Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC), in a press-note, has appealed to various private premises of the city to conduct checking at the entrances and restrict entry of those who aren’t vaccinated with covid-19 vaccine despite being eligible for the same.
AMC has stated in the press note that the private premises such as shopping malls, cinemas, clubs, gyms, commercial complexes, party plots, hotels, restaurants, religious places, tourist places, and large societies should conduct checking of the visitors at the entrances and restrict entry of those above 18 years of age who haven’t taken the first dose or haven’t taken the second dose despite being eligible for covid-19 vaccination.
The visitors should keep the covid-19 vaccination certificate with them in hard copy or in their mobile phones. AMC will conduct the necessary checking at such private premises, as per the press-note.
The Covid Coordinators of large units, offices, institutes, societies, and commercial complexes should verify that the persons under them who are eligible for covid-19 vaccination have taken the vaccines and convey the information of the persons who haven’t taken the vaccine despite being eligible to AMC.
