Gandhinagar: The foundation stone laying of Ahmedabad and Rajkot Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) and inauguration ceremony of faceless services of VAHAN and SARATHI at the hands of Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel will take place on 20th November at 4 pm at RTO, Subhash Bridge, Ahmedabad.

The program will be held under the leadership of Minister of roads and buildings Purnesh Modi, and Minister of state transport Arvindbhai Raiyani.

The 20 faceless services using AADHAR based e-KYC are to be started. The vehicle related faceless services include transfer of ownership, changes in the address of vehicles, adding hypothecation, cancelling hypothecation, continuing hypothecation, NOC of other states, duplicate RC, new permit and renewal and duplicate permit. The licence related services include licence renewal, licence replacement, licence extract, duplicate licence, changes in address in licence, adding hazards licence class, modification in name in licence, modification in photo or signature in licence, adding the class of driving vehicles in mountainous areas in licence, submitting licence or base, international driving permit, issuing licence to defence licence holder.

The verification of the applicants will be done via AADHAR base OTP and by uploading necessary documents after paying the required fees. DeshGujarat
