IT surveys at premises of Astral Pipes and Ratnamani Metals in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: The Income Tax (IT) Department has raided two Ahmedabad based companies named Astral pipes and Ratnamani metals.
The IT department has started the search operation at both companies and over 150 officials of the IT-department have joined it. The raid is conducted at Sindhu Bhavan office of Astral pipes and the police staff is deployed around the company.
The investigation is also started at various sites of the company in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi and Rajasthan. The investigation at 40 sites of Astral pipes is started including 25 sites in Ahmedabad and 15 sites out of Gujarat. The IT team is investigating at the places of Astral pipes chairman Sandip Engineer and Ratnamani chairman Prakash Sanghavi. The checking at the places of other directors of both the companies is also started. DeshGujarat
