ACB Gujarat book three for misusing power and producing fake bills

Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has filed crime of missuse of power against the present sarpanch, the then sarpanch and the then taluka cum mantri of Sankod gram-panchayat in Bavla taluka in Ahmedabad district for producing fake bills of development works of Rs 16,12,950.

The accused the then sarpanch Prahaladbhai Chehubhai Ko Patel, the then talati cum mantri Yogendrabhai Shankarbhai Sonara and the sarpanch Bharatbhai Arjanbhai Ko Patel had jointly misused the power by producing and presenting total 12 fake bills of development works in Sankod gram panchayat in 2016-17. They made a corruption of Rs 16,12,950 with abuse of power. The Ahmedabad rural ACB Police Station filed a crime of abuse of power against them under section 13(1)(C) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 and IPC section 465, 468, 471,120(B).  DeshGujarat
