Palitana town observes strike over two “Love Jihad” cases in 8 days

Palitana:Palitana town in Bhavnagar observed a day’s strike after the Muslim men eloped with 2 Hindu females in the city within 8 days.
The Hindu bodies, merchants and locals organized a rally and gave a memorandum to the prant officer. They demanded rescue of Hindu females and take actions against the responsible Muslim men.
Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) had given a one-day strike call which was supported by the locals. A call for economic boycott has also been given over these incidents. DeshGujarat
