Police drive against land and property mafias of Juhapura – Sarkhej

Sabarmati: City Police has launched a drive against land mafias active in Juhapura – Sarkhej area of city. The city police zone seven will rope in Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to demolish the illegal constructions of land and property mafias.

Ahmed Mandali, a member of late gangster Abdul Wahab has been jailed under land grabbing offence. Mandli had shot at Nazir Vora in the past. Mandli had grabbed Sarkhej Roza’s land.

A second offence against Kalu Gardan has been filed. DCP of zone – 7, Premsukh Delu has made a list of 65 criminals including Ahmed Mandli, Sultan Khan, Nazir Bazra, Altamas Khan, Amin Marwadi, Kalu Gardan, Pappu Khan, Yasin Bapu alias Kaniyo, Faruk Sai, Ayyub Ray, Sarvarkhan Pathan and his father, Azhar Kitli among others.

In some incidents, government land has been grabbed, in some other incidents the properties of poor people are grabbed by mafias.

Sarvar Chauhan, his father and Aiyyub Ray have constructed illegal housing even in Sabarmati river adjacent land.
